New Delhi : Pawan K. Chandana, Co-founder and CEO of Skyroot Aerospace, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday along with his co-founder Bharath. Following the meeting, Chandana shared a photograph on social media and reflected on Skyroot’s journey, expressing gratitude for the Prime Minister’s support for India’s private space sector.

In his post, Chandana described the meeting as a “deeply humbling moment,” recalling how he and Bharath began as two engineers pursuing a bold idea that had only a slim chance of success. He said their journey had culminated in standing alongside the Prime Minister after Vikram-1 became India’s first private orbital launch vehicle to successfully reach orbit.

Chandana credited Prime Minister Modi’s vision and policy reforms for opening India’s space sector to private enterprise and enabling a new generation of innovators to thrive. He said Skyroot Aerospace was proud to have contributed to India’s growing achievements in the space sector and to be part of the country’s transformative journey in space technology.
